Definitely wanna visit there. The whole concept and layout of the city looks interesting, especially the whole gondola and water based system. The culture and cuisine is interesting as well. Wanna check that and Rome out. Don't know what other cities in Italy are popping. Maybe Milan?

It's more beautiful in person
Food so damn good
Great spot to visit
Great place to propose also
Hate the damn airport parking ticket machine tho
Thought the food was hit or miss compared to the rest of Italy. That and the masses of tourists in a small space is why I didn't like it as much.

Definitely a place I want to visit, I love history and museums and Venice seems to have a ton of them.

I also love food and I’ve heard nothing but good in that area:ehh:

I’ve always wanted to visit Venice ever since playing Assassins Creed 2 lol. It looks very unique and beautiful and it’s pretty interesting how 70 percent of the city is made up of water. Italy has a lot of cool cities such as Florence, Naples and Sicily. It’s too bad that most of the people there are on that :mjpls:especially towards the African migrants.

Took my fiance expecting the romantic getaway I always dreamed about but ended up staying 2 days instead of 5 days. I guess I was just turned off by all the tourists. I got those more of those romantic butterflies in Florence Cinque Terra, Vienna, Brussels, and Budapest. But you are right the architecture in St Marks Square is remarkable.

7/10 Took my wife for our 15th anniversary, here's a secret. Venice is really a day trip city, 2 tops. You should be staying in small places like Padua or cities outside the immediate area if you're looking for the best experience. Best food was at some 5 table joint where an old lady did all the cooking. Most of Europe is like NYC in the sense that the best food and stuff is where one knows about.

Venice is pretty small so I see your point. A day trip isn’t so bad though.
