I love my city.

It has its faults and can be a drag sometimes, but there's no other city I'd rather live at this point of my life. There's always something to do and the diversity is huge. Got several restaurants from different cultures within walking distance of my house alone.

For black culture this is the number 1 go to city in Europe.

I'm always shocked when I run into people from london here in toronto who have moved here.
I'm like are you crazy :hhh:

no african cities on your list :mjpls:
Maybe he saving the best for last. :troll:

What are the ones he should do? I only know like Johannesburg, Cairo, and this one other city I think in Nigeria or whatever the capital was or maybe another city that's big and gets lots of attention. He should stick to high population cities and not random ass towns across the world. But we seem to be going all over the spectrum. Went from Atlantic City to London.:francis:

Don’t worry, I’m going to do African cities as well. Most members complain cause I’m not doing enough internationals cities and a few complain cause they think I should only do American Cities and now I got breh accusing me of being :mjpls: for not doing any African Cities. Everyone isn’t gonna be satisfied if I were to do the cities by population so I am doing to keep going back and forth between USA cities and Worldwide cities.

London reminded me heavily of NYC

Multi cultural
Similar popularition size
Mass transit
Speak English lol

That said it was too similar for me to enjoy already being a native NYer. I do like that the museums are free.

I preferred cities in Italy(minus Venice which felt like Times Square on steroids) and Amsterfam is probably #1 for me in Europe as they were less similar.

Strong 4 out of 10. A point for each one.

- Great concert/sports venues.
- International airport with most providers.
- English speaking city.
- Museums

Don't forget about the Hispanic and Asian cities either. I'm too lazy to look for the Chinese and Mexican version of :mjpls: :troll:.

But yeah it's a good concept you doing and very educational and informal. Glad it's being done. :salute:

I'm glad you are enjoying it. I will do my best to cover every well known city from all the continents no matter how big or small.

What about la compared to london

They are way too different , NY is the most international city in America , hands down

Im not saying its the best , Im just saying that places like Paris . London , New York and a few others have more in common with each other than many places in their own countries

I like both places , and I would say the debate about which is better isnt clear cut and is mostly down to preference

But the thing that London beats NY hands down no fukking debate and the main reason I live there now is black culture .....

Blacks in London have an appreciation of each others cultures that you dont find in NY

You go to a club that plays only dancehall music, there will be a lot of black people in there who arent Jamaican or from the Caribbean , and those Africans or wherever they are from are just as knowledgeable about the popcaans and the kartels as any Jamaican , you go to a Soca night and there are a lot of people into the scene that arent from Trini or Barbados
Go to an Afrobeat club and a lot of black people there wont be African .... even a few years ago when Indian music blew up , a lot of blacks were on that Diwali wave

There is definitely less separation and we appreciate anything dope regardless as to where its from

They dont have the same hangups and insecurities as Americans do , you are never going to here a black person in the UK saying they dont like Hip Hop because they cant get past the accents ....lol

If the music is from America and its dope we fukk with it, if its dope and its African we fukk with it, if its dope and its from the Caribbean we fukk with it

everyone reps their culture hard and to the fullest and it is never an issue
