I'll give Rio an 7/10. I've been to rio and buzios twice in the last 2 years. The food, the people, the attractions are amazing. But like other said, there is major corruption and racism in Brazil, along with major poverty.

Rio can be racist but i see it mostly in the tourist area. The North and West zones are better.

Rio is cool as hell. Real nice people, beautiful women, good weather, good food. Had a nice time there.

7/10 the city itself is gorgeous and the history is rich. The women are beautiful and cultured but you can't ignore the crushing poverty that surrounds the nicer areas and the deeply rooted racial issues.
