Camden is a damn resort compared to that place .... :picard: what the f happened there?? or has it always been like that:scust:

Gary use to be quite prosperous before WW2 because of the growth of the steel industry but due to increased competitiveness from overseas the industry started to decline in the 60’s and many workers were lead off as a result and the city has been rapidly declining since then unfortunately.

The entire city is the hood. With none of the benefits of being in a big city
When I used to live near there I remember hearing that police would tell people to ignore traffic lights at night. As in, if the light is red and no one is around, just go because you were a sitting duck.

Downtown is home to a dingy Philly cheesesteak spot, a run down hotel, and the smallest City Hall I’ve seen :skip:

Place is poverty stricken all the industry jobs left it’s one of the most dangerous cities in America per capita now. At least it’s close to Chicago.

Other than being the Jackson’s hometown it has nothing going for it. :wow:
