That’s one area that I will definitely avoid the next time I’m in New Jersey.

It's a unique city being that it has its own waterfall and renowned for the high school for which the movie Lean On Me was based on. Other than that it's a shyt hole of a place overran by Dominicans, Latinos, Arabs and has lost its identity. Paterson used to have a majority black population but not no more. You can throw a rock in any direction and you will hit a Dominican. Plagued with a high crime rate the city government had no choice but to initiate a city wide curfew so those late night chicken shacks are no more.
Come summer time it becomes a concentrated hotbed of fukkery where you will see rolling bands of Dominicans on dirt bikes and quads marauding thru the streets wit no fukks given. Then you have zombieland from Madison Ave all the way down to Straight st by the White Castles where you will see nothing but crackheads/meth heads. It be alot of cac drug addicts wandering the streets at all hours of the morning further corroding the streets of Paterson. There is no reason to visit Paterson at all
Aint shyt in Paterson but trouble. 10th Ave, Carroll st. Governor st, Park Ave, Broadway etcMy neck of the woods. Nothing exciting about Paterson, the food, nightlife, activities, nothing. It’s a place you go to if you’re looking for trouble. Stay away.
nikkas got bad aim in Paterson. It's always shootings. You're more likely to get stabbed out in PatersonSurprisingly enough Paterson murder rate is nothing compared to Newark, Irvington or Camden
