Rate This City: Day 154 - Mesa Arizona

Mesa is cool. It's actually fairly large and versatile. Some parts look like the ugly parts of Phoenix, but further east there's some nice ass scenery. Need to head out there more but the Mesa PD always patrolling heavy when I'm out there.

is black love strong out there?

Mesa is east valley, and in the east valley there arent alot of black people and one thing leads to another and you know how it goes.
Long story short, there is a number of black people in interracial relationships here

so as far as "black love" theres def a presence but dont be shocked when you get here, and you see alot of black people in interracial relationships.

 

[Cadillac]

mesa has a nice downtown and is pretty neat, idk as much about it as i do other parts. But its cool in some ways but it has its drawkbacks

drawbacks are - its white as hell(so you know what that entails) despite its latin population it doesnt feel like it, can be boring(goin off what some have told me) and has alot of messy parts(metheads)

pro- your next to Scottsdale and Tempe. That alone does give it huge value. Your next to ASU/Downtown Tempe's parties, Scottsdale with his fashion square and all other things. So you def have a nightlife
plus theres some nice areas there. the city is really a good spot for creatives like playwrights, writers, artist etc.
