I'm saying. I have enough trouble sleeping in regular time zones. Not only do you have to create the whole illusion of night in your house, dealing with -30 degree weather. You would have to cover your whole house in duct tape to black it out, like you were preparing for a zombie invasion. No natural night sounds coming through to help soothe you to sleep, nothing.

In the winter it's usually colder in Minneapolis than in Anchorage


I only went once as a youngin and I was surprised to see black people, Mexicans, Asians, and Samoans. The sun was up most of the day and it was in the 65-70 degree range

Honestly, if you're a nature/scenery aficionado... it's right down your alley.

However, that cold/snow life?? Everybody ain't built for it. I also don't like the idea of having to go through a whole damn country just to get to another state in America. It's closer to Russia than it is the rest of the USA.

I think the isolation would fukk with me more than the cold.
