it was pretty good. a nice relax and kick back anime. an overarching story but it's mostly about the journey and mitchiko and hatchin growing together

saw it years ago, really good show from what I remember. Nothing about it really grabbed me personally but I loved the animation. Also seeing black people in anime without them lookin c00nish is always good in my book.

Thinking back on it the story wasn’t very interesting and the ending wasn’t worth it for all what the characters went through.

Basically a bedwench backpacking with her cac lovers b*stard child as they run around trynna find dude while trynna finesse 12. Not the best depiction of black women sohh I don’t think I’d recommend this to anyone honestly.

Its a dope anime that's fast moving but chill at the same time. Nice lil adventure with some cool characters. I enjoyed it. The ending is what keeps it from being a masterpiece. That shyt just kinda happened and it wasn't a big deal. The journey was definitely better.

This. Although, I would be lying if I said that it wasn't an 9/10 up until the ending.

Was a good Watanabe produced anime. Great art and sound but the story just missed that "it" thing. Imma go with 7

7/10. I thought this show was underrated. You don't get a lot of Black characters in Anime, and seeing Hatchin and Michiko grow a real friendship was nice to see. The setting and storyline are real cool and breezy. This could work as a live action movie.
