For day 38 of our series the coli showed that it wasn’t a fan of S.O.L animes by giving Angel Beats an Iwasa song rating of 6.30

On to day 37

Normally I don’t post in these threads but imma 1 star this anime as it was prolly the most repetitive, underwhelming anime adult swim had. They wasted a shyt load of episodes on Inuyasha just randomly getting outsmarted by EVERYONE and then coming out victorious. Even the moves never evolved and his brother didn’t get enough screen time.

brehs from the anime thread have seen me say it, but the ending songs remind me of when I was actually satisfied with life and at peace with shyt. I'd come stumbling in at 4 in the morning high, drunk and prolly beat the fukk up and it would be just going off. These themes and Song of 4 Seasons from Samurai Champloo

Kinda bittersweet for me.






Aside from that, first and foremost.... Naraku is a fukking scumbag.

Kagome is annoying as shyt

Sesshomaru is a fukking Boss

Kagura deserved better

Miroku is a non-militant Coli poster

on another note, this was a LOT of brehs first dealing with an anime story written by a woman (created, written and drawn by Rumiko Takahashi, the best selling female comic creator of ALL TIME)

I expect some low scores.

It's just the story style and pacing can be jarringly different when you're used to guy written shonen as opposed to anywhere near shoujo. (InuYasha is shonen, with blatant shoujo overtones)
