Rate this anime day 25: Yu Yu Hakusho

Yu Yu Hakusho was the truth! I remember getting hyped every time this would come on Toonami. As much as I respect DBZ for laying the groundwork for the shonen/fighting series that came after it, I always thought that Yu Yu was better about letting all of the characters shine. All four of these dudes did work:

Team Urameshi might be a top 5 squad in anime history

The dark tournament is a goat level arc. Them demons had no choice but to put some respect on team urameshi’s name after it was over.

I’m not going to front man. I didn’t even know the anime existed until posters were thirsting for it, But read that thread man those posters were passionate and emotional over it. And it’s not like it got the bare minimum of ten votes either, they had a 9/10 vote of 94 percent if I’m not mistaken. That’s unmeasurably high and not one poster said anything bad about it ( not one).


It even knocked Hunter X Hunter out of the top 5 and single handily raised all the 9 rated anime averages.

Probably the greatest endorsement of an anime I’ve ever seen.

One of the first few I've ever watched. Also one of the few anime I like the dub more than the sub(DBZ, FMA, Gundam Wing, OG Evangelion, Macross)

A kuwabara and kurama spin off would be flames. Kurama isn’t totally stoic and has jokes too. Kuwabara got jokes and the heart. shyt would be interesting

Hajime no Ippo

and its one of the longest running manga ever. 1200 chapters and counting.

But how do you become a fan if you never heard of it? I only know about it because I got a game of it and maybe I’ll see it somewhere online. Did this show even come out in English dub?

Out of the popular shonen cluster of BIG 3, and DBZ.

This one is the most overrated and honestly the weakest out of all of them

It's amazing how people will tear apart Naruto, Bleach and their endings

But dikkride YYH and overlook it's terrible ending
