I gave it a 7.
Like everybody says, the fights are great. The characters and styles are incredibly varied. INCREDIBLY varied. And there's some epic, epic ass fights and anticipation for those fights
Yujiro Hanma fukkery is great.
Fights tend to lag, though. Bu that's a common complaint when it comes to adaptations. Manga, you're reading a character's thoughts while they observe their opponents. Still images make you feel like it's happening in the blink of an eye. Anime, you're listening to them think for 12 minutes while their opponent stands there and brags about what they're about to do.
Not really much of a story outside of "this is a new fighter. this is their technique. this is their tragic but motivational backstory. Now they fighting".
It's enjoyable as shyt, though. So 7 it is.
Oh, and Shibukawa is the GOAT (not named Yujiro)
