I haven’t commented on an anime in a while but I’ll say this.

Darker than black in my opinion is the second greatest mafia anime behind 91 days. When it came to 91 days we knew early on that Angelo wanted revenge and he was losing his insanity throughout the anime. But with Darker than black the theme of depression and anger immediately shows and Hei dissent towards alcoholism,abuse and depression really hits you all at once. This is one of the rare animes that makes me use this gif

It really was an evil world they lived in.

its dope, characters are cool, powers are cool, solid all the way around, but I wouldn't call it a classic or anything like that.

One of my favorite animes. Hei a series like Witch Hunter Robin but 100 times better.
