shyt was classic and I'll be damned if you didn't wanna play basketball afterwards. The music was on point too. Loved the characters and how everyone worked together to improve.

The fact that it was influenced by those 90s Bulls runs.

Only thing keeping it from being a 10 is that the animation at the time didn’t let you feel the fluidity of the movement. Instead of the fast paced movement you’d associate with basketball, at times it felt clunky and stilted. It’s not BAD bad, since there was only so much they could do with 90s animation. But when you see a Kuroko no Basket or Ahiru no Sora and how they move and you feel the speed with each dribble, shot, etc? Can’t help but compare.

The manga did this better than the anime lmao

crazy how the anime left out the goat character of the series Eiji Sawakita.

Anime 8/10-----I hope they make a remake soon. This series put knb to shame.

Trust me read the manga first. Its more realistic and well written. Crazy how the art dramatically changes from vol 1 to vol 31.
