Seen GITS a few times over. One day I sat down and watched the first season all the way through. Probably my favorite anime to date. I tried Arise but couldn't get into it. It didn't feel like the Major that I was used to :yeshrug:. Never heard of that last one. I'll try getting to that sometime this week.

ARISE is basically the prequel to the 1st GitS Movie. See if that helps you get through it. :yeshrug:
