NO ONE can say Insomniac is B level or even B+ after this. They are A level developers period. They are putting the industry on notice again. This game will make people finally put respect on Insomniac's name. They got pigeonholed as this B+ at best studio for some reason when they have always been A level developers. Spiderman 2 will be another masterpiece and will be what we saw in Rift Apart but on another level.

Maybe the fact that this is only my 2nd R&C game is distorting my impression of it. To me it’s clearly a 10/10

Agreed. I played the PS3 R&C’s - Crack in Time and Quest for Booty. So this one feels extremely fresh for me.

Agreed. I played the PS3 R&C’s - Crack in Time and Quest for Booty. So this one feels extremely fresh for me.

Yeah, I've played about...5 or 6 of the Ratchet games. Most of the PS3 ones, the PS4 2016 joint, the Clank one on the PSP and this one. Still feels pretty fresh to me as well.

I played them all the way back to tge OG on PS2. This entry doesn't change the formula much, but it does have a level of polish to it that shows Insomniac knows how to perfectly make these style of games.
