Spiderman 2 being cross gen is a business decision because Spiderman 2 will be way bigger than R&C
However, there is no way Spiderman 2 can be cross gen after this. NO WAY. Even if Sony wanted Insomniac to, you think they are going to want to do cross gen after showing us what next gen gameplay looks like?
Rift Apart will be a big seller and big system seller because this game really is a leap forward in terms of graphics and gameplay
A game like rift apart usually comes out 2-3 years in the generation showing off the power of the system but the game manages to be groundbreaking as a launch window game
Haven't felt this excited in a long time
No more cross gen first party titles
Cross gen DOES hold back games
GOW 2 and Horizon 2 makes you think what could have been if Insomniac is puling off next gen gameplay like this off their first try
They didn't even know when the PS5 would exist when making this game and they still managed to take advantage of the PS5 in some way in terms of level design that's crazy
Imagine if they had the final kits from the beginning and more than 2 years?
