I can't wait to play this to truly see a ground-up for PS5 game. Not gonna lie I feel like even Returnal wasn't "truly" next gen. It was dope but it didn't feel like a game that couldn't be done on last gen consoles.
Even if it just more ambitious set pieces and sequences that couldn't be done on PS4, I'll take it it for now. Seeing the 80/20 or 90/10 splits for Spiderman MM better make Sony realize Horizon 2 and GOW 2 should be their final cross gen big time titles.

Their next big time title is Spiderman 2 and maybe some other unannounced IPs and it would be a shame if they were cross gen because of Sony's greed. If GOW2 and Horizon 2 have big sales on the PS4, that doesn't look good for future big titles e.g. Spiderman 2.

People also making the excuse of it takes time to tap into new consoles when
1) the PS5 is almost identical to the PS4 in architecture w/ the obvious differences and upgrades. developers already had almost a decade to master the ps4 hardware
2) according to Sony, Jim Ryan, other execs, and dev like Cory Barlog, the PS5 was designed to change game design but to also introduce ground breaking games faster. So 2-3 year dev cycles instead of 3-6 year dev cycles. The PS5 being similar to the PS4 helps with this and this was done on purpose to accelerate development.

The PS5 is also the easiest playstation system to develop for. So when you combine these two factors, we could have seen a game pushing the PS5 to its limits as early as GOW 2 and Horizon 2 if they were ps5 exclusive. :francis: R&C might do it but we will have to wait and see. I think it will at least have scenes that couldn't be done on the PS4 :yeshrug:

As for R&C Drift Apart goes, we already have seen what could not be done on PS4 in the dimensional shifting.

What do you have now?
I bought the Sony 4K XBR 43X800D back in late 2016 when the Pro dropped. It's 4 and 1/2 years old now and I've been underwhelmed by HDR on most games.

Get one breh :wow:
Next gen games were made for that tv
Still can't believe how pretty Horizon 2 and R&C look on this tv and those are just the garbage compressed youtube videos.:wow:
:wow:

I'm using it for my bedroom so the LG 48" or 55" CX OLED would be perfect as it is OLED, has HDMI 2.1 ports and isn't really breaking the bank. I just want to get rid of my current TV since I have no room for more TV's in my spot.
