Yea rass kass nvr had as good beats he should’ve besides soul on ice. Two styles that would’ve meshed perfectly together in prime time

Truth.

Hav couldn't miss back then. So that mid-90's run he had up until the early 2000's, would've worked nicely for him if he did some work with Ras then. Speaking of the West, his style worked nicely with Xzibit too. So he needs to bring back that level of production for his sh*t today.

@FreshAIG Bruhs, why isn't this pinned? It's a new album and there's older stuff pinned I think.:damn:

@LevelUp You should add the music videos and the album's Spotify and YT playlist links to the OP as well. Let's give this thread the dignity it deserves?:ehh:

Definitely checking for this.

I never thought about it back then, but a project with Ras and Havoc would've been CRAZY in '96.

That's two styles that would've worked perfectly together!

Ras came into the game with a dark sound because all the demo stuff was produced by Bird/Western Hemisfear. Felt like he wanted to get away from all that and blow up.

I liked Bird's beats. I just think Ras needed more variety back then.

They stayed in that same pocket a little too much, and that's what people had an issue with at the time. But I loved that vibe that Ras came in with. Some of the demos they did were better than the music that ended up on the album!

Been waiting for a minute to finally hear the full version of "Lo Fi" ever since that clip they posted of the studio session for the song a year or so ago.

Best track on the album, my favorite song of the year so far.

This is fire 🔥
Also we need that meth album. I hope they’re really just taking their time on it and making sure it’s a classic instead of it being scrapped. Meths l been slaughtering every verse without cursing & always has the best verse. Nobody can fukk wit him he’s on major tear it’s like Godzilla crushing everything at his age too he’s showing em how’s it done. That’s hip hop fukk it

Apparently these albums may drop this year still: Alfredo 2, lulu 2, hall and nash 3, mobb/alc album (maybe), sauce walks/daringer, maybe boldy vdon or boldy alc, Rome streetz album, Lloyd banks.

Edit: this needs to be stickied
