That photo is from his photo book released when Resurrection came out.

The story behind this photo is that his manager at the time (Leila Steinberg) who he was living with because he was homeless when he originally met her. Well, when he turned 21 she brought him that truck as a gift because he would tell her that he was going to die by the time he was 21. She brought him it so he could have something to aspire for.

I believe he was suicidal since his teens.

Afeni Shakur and his sister put this book together. It's actually the official accompaniment book to the film of the same name.

I brought the book in the end because it's worth it. The quality of the book and its contents is extensive 1:1.

I suggest you buy the real thing. 50 Cent has a book exactly like this of his childhood that came out around the same time.
