I'm surprised they fired him to be honest. Looks like the last two years have been about penny pinching and I was under the impression that they didn't want to pay him on the way out.
But for Masai this is the easiest to blame someone else when he built a shytty roster and mismanaged his assets every trade deadline

Masai missed out on Giannis ONE TIME and tried to sign a bunch of 6'8-6'9 guys thinking that would be enough these past 3 years is completely unacceptable.
He better draft people who can actually score and handle the ball. It's tiring watching the likes of OG fumble the ball or travel with it multiple times a game. IF he stands pat with this core, Masai is basically Colangelo pt.2. He got really lucky with the Kawhi deal
