Albums like "Based On a T.R.U. Story" really make you wonder just how they even come about to existence.Record labels make talented artists jump through hoops to even get signed, let alone get through the development process unscathed. Getting a single released is a miracle; an album launch is simply blue moon territory. Then along comes a talentless hack like 2 Chainz.
the rapper from Georgia (formerly known as Tity Boy) reduces every single topic to its very base level. There are absolutely no redeeming aspects to his own performance, and BOATS is in no way, shape or form worth your time or money.
.....but then along comes the star of the show to destroy the myth that he's "one to watch this year." He is, rather, one to spot, avoid like the plague, and ignore forever more.
The lyrics are just so appallingly limited in ambition, and he drags his all-star cast down with him.
Mr. Epps rolls off a nonsensical list of clichés, dumbed down couplets and inane song titles (he claims "I'm Different" then two songs later delivers "I Luv Dem Strippers"). Can 2 Chainz rap? Yes, of course. But is he saying anything? No, not even once. Nothing clever, nothing of note.

I havent heard the album...but I cant lie, when his verses come on the radio I turn it up...I listen to him the same way I listen to FLOCKA.

We are supposed to have rappers so dope they bring tears to your eyes by now. Meanwhile nikkas from 1994 are still breaking ground and new nikkas sound mentally slow. Weird how it turned out.
It's like Rock music. The dopest shyt came out in the 60s and 70s. The 80s were mostly about hair bands and weirdos.

lol...if 2Chainz is "real nikka music", then I'm the most fake person in the world. Dude is 100% trash. This guy makes the type of music that fits into every single negative black stereotype. This is the type of music that people look at and begin to laugh. It's a mockery of hip hop, and a mockery of black culture.
Honestly...can ANYONE name a hot verse by this clown, with lyrics? I've got to see this.
