Beanie Sigel, one of my all time favorites, shortly after signing and establishing himself as an artist, he descended into rapidly self destructive spiral, from which he never really recovered. 2003 he basically lost it all within a year.... He was arrested for a weapons charge, which the feds eventually picked up, because he was a felon. Then, in early January 2003, he was arrested for allgedly beating a 53 year old man 
then a few months later he was arrested with another pistol in his Escalade, cough syrup, 60 xanax and percoset. With all those cases pending, he went and shot Terrence Speller in front of a strip club, over an argument with a woman. Of course, we know he beat that case, and served a year for the pistol and drugs, but he's been in shambles professionally ever since. That was a year that defined the rest of his career.
