Basic aint really a diss tho. You could be basic and be able to tell a dope story with maaaad charisma like Slick Rick. Or have a basic flow but make up for it with emotion and a good message behind the lyrics like Pac. shyt the Fresh Prince got by on being humorous and relatable.

On the flip....you can be on the multi-syllable shyt and come off crazy boring and unlistenable too.

shyt...I forgot the homie Big Face. He's a legend. But the flow is basic. HOWEVER - they're aint too many mcs who can create an atmosphere in his songs like "Never Seen a Man Cry" or "Boy Meets Girl"

Jadapiss and Fabolpiss have become the most basic boring generic rappers in the game the past 5 years. Jada shouldnt even be allowed to rap at this point
