Nah, I don't think I've heard it. What was it called? The last joints I heard from Chess were From The Ashes and Survive Or Die Trying.

To me, Taskforce are some of the best to ever do it in the UK. I loved all their Music From The Corner albums particularly.

It's called new mic order pt 2, it's kinda the sequel to survive of die tryin'.

Nice. I will check it out.

The 1st Taskforce album was called "New Mic Order"

This is my favorite Chester P verse ever. The 1st verse on this track. 1st time I heard it I was like :ohhh: :mindblown:

Task Force - Tears On My Pillowcase - YouTube

Thing with chess is he can switch from direct to abstract with no weaknesses.

On one song he'll be telling you about his life and trying to give some lessons and on another it's totally abstract like he wrote while tripping on mushrooms.

Him and jehst are probably my favourite uk rappers, I liked klashnekoff And doc brown as well, but 1 retired and 1 (semi) fell off.

There's good uk hip hop out there though, I prefer it to American hip hop tbh.

Yeah, Chester is a genius in my eyes. 95% of the verses he drops leave me :mindblown:

Klashnekoff was one of my favorites too but he ain't put out much since his mixtape in 05. It was called Focus Mode with DJ Skully, if u can get that check it out, great mixtape.

UK hip hop is usually a lot deeper than American stuff, like someone else said, it might have been you, UK rappers don't make much money at all so they do it for the love and also they are not on major labels, dictating them what to say.

Skinnyman was another of the UK greats. He just came home from prison a few months ago. He hasn't really released much in the last few years tho.

I don't listen to Jhest that much but all the tracks I heard from him I liked. I don't really check for the new artists that much but I still got love for the scene.
