...if you were a legitimate resident of QB Housing Projects?...Maybe a soldier...or an individual within the hood who really put that work in at some point or another. Someone who laid the groundwork for cats like P to wanna be affiliated with the jects in the first place. Would you feel some type of way about P gettin a mural? Having to slide thru the block and see a mural of an individual (perceived by many residents/notables within the community) to be an outsider of said community. Especially if you beefed with any of these people from the projects.

Notorious QB legends such as Lakey the Kid and Sherm the Worm (to name a few), have been floated around as possibly, having a hand in the defacing of P's mural. Could you really blame these cats for viewing P as an outsider if truly the case? Cats like these and more, are QB born and bred. To be fair, P has done nothin but promote and assist in the legend...that is Queensbridge Housing PJs. There is no denying Prodigy PUT ON for QB, to the point, many of us believed he was actually from there, at some point and time.

He was obviously embraced out there during some point. The ying to his yang, Havoc from Mobb Deep is inarguably a QB alum and legend. You would think that cosign would be enough to hold off the wolves. Again, we are talking hood politics tho, where empathy is a rarity... Is it fair for a cat like the Real Rick Ross to be mad at a rapper like Rozay for capitalizing off his notoriety? How bout the family members or affiliates of the Real 50 Cent to be mad at Fif for capitalizing off the persona of their ppls? Are they wrong for holdin ill-will? We could include hood legends like Supreme, Prince, Po, Meech, Silk Perry, Harry-O, Pete and any other hood legend you could think of.... Entertainers have gotten rich off their stories and names. In any other profession or area throughout the US...plagiarism or royalties would be enforced....So when shyt like the defacing of P's mural occurs...I'm unsurprised. It's disturbing...but nggas from the hood are haters and have a crab in the bucket mentality... P knew the rules these nggas play by... Again...I'm just playin devil's advocate for a second.. but I'd love to hear other ppls opinions on this perspective? I know nggas on the Coli love to talk that appropriation talk....
