Man every rapper needs to take some kind of mandatory course or something to avoid shyt like this. Have rules in place. No posting pics of anything that has addresses or house numbers in it. No pics in cribs YOURE CURRENTLY IN, no geotagging. You’re a fukking target. Stay low.

They need something like The Ten Social Media Commandments.

Wish they didn’t need it tho. Half are just babies. RIP.

It's not even that serious though. My wife and I have a rotty and 2 shotguns, and a few pistols in the crib, and a camera, and an alarm, and the very worst case scenario is that we die, and take some people with us. I'm confident if 4 armed dudes tried breaking in, we could safely go upstairs, point 2 loaded shotguns at the door, and wait for the cops to come. They'd probably dip after my angry ass @Rottweiler tried biting them and they had to shoot him. At 20, I probably would've died because all I woulda had on me was 1 pistol and a few dogs, thinking I was superman out here.
That true if you live where you can have guns easily. In NYC if he got caught with one gun, he's getting locked up for around a couple of years, at least.

I don't know about la, but I think it's not easy as well. Plus a shootout should be your last resort. Once you shed blood, now you have more beef if the person was part of a gang. That isn't good for a rapper who moves around constantly. Ya best bet is to not be seen until you want to be seen, that's why u move & shake where you live

i don't think that is what happened, TMZ is saying they had a party at the crib or a gathering, it is probably like XXX where somebody at the party and lined him up for the robbery and checked out the scene and knew it was an easy go

shyt that's even worse, I been off house parties for years because out here in CA they always get shot up, even in the burbs.

Out here in my damn drawls
People were mad at DaBaby for confronting that valet for sneaking pictures out there when he was with his child

The Lori Harvey situation too

Scavengers work overtime out here looking for any clue on how to take something

I don't know anything about his music but RIP

No...they don’t.

How do you figure? Pop Smoke isn't a Pac, the value of his catalog is probably going to drop to 0 in a couple years when he isn't out promoting it. I'm going to go out on a limb and say he doesn't have a shyt load of timeless classics in the vault.

RIP to the young breh.

Here’s how... the value of his music skyrockets in the short term. His streams are about to be crazy. A ton of people will check out his music that didn’t before. They’re getting free publicity. And now they don’t have to pay any of the expenses (travel, promotion, pr, legal fees, studio time, etc.) or deal with the headaches that come with managing talent.

Whether his catalog has value in the long term is moot. They’re making money off his music and image in perpetuity without having to pay any new expenses.

Obviously renting.

But he was in a gang. You can't trust anyone in that life period. I don't agree with little devil that rap should be bushed but rap fans and performers have a responsibility to address the elephant in the room.

Violent lyrics being celebrate while real violence is somehow shocking to the same people yet rap fans want performers to be about that life.... Way too many contradictions.

I never listened to dude but seeing his name up today made my heart drop. He's a young Black man and this is more than music.

I didn’t like his music or know him... with that being said, it is sad that he didn’t get to live long enough to enjoy the fruits of his labor and come to the realization that gang culture shouldn’t be glamorized nor chosen....

Seems like he was on the road to learning how to be better..It’s sad his journey was cut short by what I assume to be crabs in a barrel

RIP

I don't really care for these young rappers tho

I have to say.

I just don't care anymore when I heard the news I just shrugged my shoulders. I mean what what do you want from us??? These rappers they live these fantasy lives they make the stupidest decisions and then everybody's like oh he was young I mean I don't care!

How many examples has the world set for these young people? How many times have they seen other people die but then they go and make the same mistakes. It's getting to a point to where they expect me to care when they die and I don't. I don't care.

I am extremely tired of seeing young black men take these Ls over and over again. Unnecessarily!!

he was shot shortly after revealing his address on a package he got. It's a picture floating around. And the house he was at was basically right next to the street had no gates or nothing.
