These rappers talk about doing these same crimes, but yet everytime some shyt actually goes down people are in disbelief.
Like are these fans actually paying attention to what theyre celebrating ? theres nothing tragic about this.
The word they're looking for is untimely.

There's a large segment of people here who have the attitude that it's "just entertainment"

Naw thats a lie. That shyt is a status symbol and they want to be up around them crackers so they can feel like they made it MADE IT. In the day and age of videoconferenceing, email, dropbox, and private flights and all that shyt you can be anywhere in the world and take care of business. There is no reason to jump and move to LA for anything these days. Its just easier to brainwash and whitewash you once you are there up in them hills, or out in Calabasas and Malibu.
Breh this city is big as hell. Ya'll talking like LA is ten blocks or some shyt. You can hide the fukk out and disappear in the LA metro if you want to. Ditch the flash, tough talk, and IG posts and disappear in the city and reemerge with the jewels and dough when its time to do a show or some shyt. LA is not what you think it is. Outside of the flashy and rich areas the city is blue collar asf. Alot of times its what you want it to be.

Exactly. That’s the difference between reckless gun bars and actually showing the parallels of doing dirt. When you show the parallels, you’re providing the listeners with the consequences of certain actions. Some rappers overtime gradually gain the ability to do that. Others like Pop Smoke get killed before they are able to get a chance to.

It's just entertainment for most people. That is how they can listen to the music and not be bothered they don't think its real

Pop Smoke, an up and coming rapper, was shot and killed Wednesday morning in what appears to be a home invasion robbery ... TMZ has learned.

The rapper was at a home in the Hollywood Hills at around 4:30 AM when 2 men wearing hoodies and masks broke into a house ... this according to law enforcement sources. We're told the 2 men fired multiple shots, striking and critically wounding Pop Smoke. The men were seen fleeing on foot.

And, there's this ... Pop Smoke posted the address of the home earlier in the day. He was showing off gift bags he had received and one had the home's address.

Just hours before he was gunned down, Pop Smoke mugged with a pal in a car -- the friend holding a fortune in bills -- in the driveway of the home where he was shot.

Some of this is sound, but at this point a lot of it is based on assumptions. We don't know who the people who killed him are, or if they did in fact find him based on posting his location or flashing online only, especially when we now know he had a party beforehand. So taking it to the logical extreme, do we now say that rappers shouldn't have parties or gatherings either because someone could rob them or find where they stay?

you are right. we dont know who killed him. but who do you think did it? we can take an educated guess. this is some low level street shyt. nothing intricate or political about it.

NO
Who said it did???

Nipsey's music didnt get him killed

Young Greatness' music didnt get him killed

XXX's music didnt get him killed

Chinx's music didnt get him killed

Doe B's music didnt get him killed

What do all those deceased black men have in common??

You can keep playing ignorant if you want to but some of us know better

Being a rapper is a dangerous LIFESTYLE CHOICE

You KNOW this but you seem to want to argue for no reason
Ain’t no one arguing for shyt.

you said rap is toxic yet none of those rappers died because of the music ITSELF. They died because of grimy crabs, jealous nikkas, gangs, etc.

Sean Taylor was killed because of a home invasion and he wasn’t a rapper. Stop it.
