No disrespect to you but fuk that. A lot of people outside of New York were going in on dude or talking about him like a fad. Posters were saying that he would never be popular, that he was only a "local act". There is no fairness, there's facts. Those are facts, the evidence is right there. Now they are over there having an 89 page discussion when everyone was spitting venom at him, I remember names and none of those same names were talking nice or cared.

His music was getting a decent amount of play on local DMV radio and outta people’s whips including my own. Even over in my alma mater (UMES), he’s been getting major play and some including myself were calling for him to be at our Homecoming. Don’t know how widespread his music was outside of the Tri-State but the DMV and Baltimore were definitely fukking with him, and a lot of the girls including one of my close friends were thirsting over him too. Even outside the music tip, I fukked with Pop heavy because he reminded me of DaBaby for a couple of reasons:

• Charismatic but wasn’t on any punk shyt
• Very intelligent and articulate in his music as well as during interviews and podcasts unlike most of the new crop of rappers were they stay with the mumble shyt even outside the studio
• Restored the feeling of having fun and actually dancing his ass off in the music videos
• Fresh ass drip for days. Both them nikkas along with Wale are (were in Pop’s case smdh) quite possibly the best dressed artists of this current generation of Hip Hop IMO. I even saw a CLEAN ass pair of silver grey Timbs in Journey’s a couple of weeks ago that looked like some shyt Pop would wear. Told myself Imma get them next time I come back to the mall....Imma def get them bytches now in breh’s honor
