Y'all nikkas clearly don't remember Dallas in the 90's and early-mid 2000s. Dallas crime rate dropped drastically in like 2010 cause nikkas got locked up or popped and it's just now getting back to kind of what it used to be.

section 8 vouchers was moving a lot of hardheads into the burbs during the 2010's also...

back when rent in the City-Proper was rising...
i stay in a high-rise now but we still got our cribs in Glendale

You was around the corner. I went to Velt..early 90s
These dudes from the streetz, young with paper, and no guidance. Me and my generation fault
:francis:

Lol I had nikkas at Velt
DISD was a fool in the 90's / 00's breh breh

I wonder why. Visit some of the IG pages of these new age rappers, artists who you’ve never heard of. They’ll have followings numbering in the hundreds of thousands, sometimes in the millions, with posts showing a lifestyle that can only be bankrolled by a lot of money. The math isn’t adding up.

:whoa:It ain't that deep tho. These kids grow up on the internet with followings and they have money from scamming. That's why you see all these rappers with 10k followers and blocks of crisp bills.

Swiping is what has funded probably 85% of the street rap images you've seen since drill got poppin.

These record labels are taking real street dudes fresh out of prison and turning them in to rappers. The problem is, for every lil baby, there’s a king von and a Mo3

Interesting to see how this unfolds
I think over the next 5 years that shyt is gonna slow down, hip hop needs to push back on all this bullshyt. It’s embarrassing.

not as long as the money is there.

Looks like Dallas will be on Chicago's level in a few years, and that shyt will spread more into the suburban communities.
