I aint gonna comment on your whole thing cuz you have valid points about people hypothesizing and not knowing shyt. I will tell you more shyt tends to happen in the dead of night like this than at any other time. I don't think that was the major issue here though. I think some cats had it out for him, knew where'd he'd be or followed him from some spot and that's that.

As for camera's, kid, I was just around there yesterday. TRUST, someone with half a brain can outfox those camera's. If you from that hood or hang around there you know exactly how to do that. The fact that the hit was so close to the Van Wyck, Grand Central and Jackie Robinson (Interboro for the old heads) let's me know they either got lucky or put some thoughts into the getaway plan.

Folks def had it out for him. This is the second hit done in public, in queens, in the past 2 weeks. The last one was done around Roy Wilkins Park in broad day.

The difference though - and this has to do with the camera's - is that the other hit was done on foot. I don't see how you can beat any camera in a car. Car's bring attention. Screeching tires. Running red lights. You're restricted by the roads, thus having limited options.

Not to mention this was done on Queens blvd. I expect to see a marked car on patrol every time I'm there, regardless of the hour. So it's like, an even crazier risk. We both know the nypd doesn't sleep - so to shoot someone on a main street like that means 0 fukks were given.

Everybody who keeps harping on the fact that rappers need to "stay out the hood" - that corner in Briarwood is not the hood. Briarwood is not all that bad of a neighborhood actually - shyt ton of Jewish people out there, you can see the white people in the background in the shooting photos.

It's like a catch 22. These days rappers feel that they have to make you envious of them. That's why they always rap about fukking your girl while flaunting their wealth in your face. They think they have to do that to sell an image. The good thing is it sometimes does sell, the bad thing is if you're still around cats that have nothing it's not going to end well. This reminds me of a rapper named Pretty Black that was killed in Oakland a few years ago.

Cats need to take a page from J Cole and Kendrick and get the money, make good music, and not floss at all. I never hear the likes of Common, Kweli, or Mos Def getting shot at or robbed in their primes.

His kids were apparently taken care of. Seeing those pics on Ig with him and his fam on mothers day is sad. was doing shows all around the world. He made it out the hood. Had numerous records on the radio, and Ima assume he had his bread up, being that he could afford a Porsche. Dude seemed to be in a good space. If that aint considered making it, then what is?

He died right before Father's day. It make it that much worse.
