you reap what you sow. Rap about killing people and then get killed yourself.

Never. this is an ignorant remark.

Al Pacino must be killed for scarface?

al pacino didnt need "street cred" to make scarface. comparing rap music to any other medium is silly because rap music is the only artform where the performer better be living what he portraying or he will lose all credibility.

It's this kind of reasoning that get people killed.
Some people on here have a lot of growing up to do.

A lot of hypothesizing going on in this thread. Even worse that most of it is coming from non new yorkers, and most importantly folks that aren't from Queens. If you're referring to the crime scene/area as Briarwood and not 84 and Queens blvd, I'm already looking at you like :childplease:.

Let me start by saying I was also out until 5:30am Sunday morning. I'm from south side, so I went back to link some with homies. I was up and down rockaway ave, guy r brewer, merrick - all that. Smh at you scary nikkas talking about running red lights/nobody should be out past a certain time of the night. There was nothing "crazy" going on that night that would've tipped anyone off to that shooting. In fact, I didn't find out about it until I logged on here after I woke up yesterday. It was a calm and peaceful night. A lot of people weren't even out and about because it was raining until like 11pm.

On top of that - NY bars/clubs etc close at 4am folks. If he was wrong for being out at 5, then everyone in NY who parties is in the wrong too.

And I wouldn't be surprised if they already found out who did it. If those cats pulled a quick U and started running red lights, then the NYPD has a god damn mountain of evidence on those cats. Every light on hillside, merrick, jamaica, linden - pretty much all of the major queens streets - has a camera on it. Not to mention, they would've had to pass about 2 or 3 gas stations to get onto the van wyck, which also have cameras.

im not saying he deserved to get killed because he was a rapper, im only pointing out that the scarface argument is silly. rappers feel like they have to stay in the hood and be surrounded by that element because they lose credibility if they dont, especially up and comers. al pacino didnt hang out with cuban drug lords once he made scarface.

from news reports that a black mercedes SUV sped off from where chinx was shot...

An hour later my boys car was parked by hillside and 219th st...a black mercedes suv slammed into my boys car and into the old building i use to live in...

Passeneger of said Suv fled The scene...

From where chinx was shot to this location is a 20 min drive....

Last night my boy told me he thinks same people that killed chinx crashed into his car on purpose, i thought he was reaching but since media and other people saying it was a black mercedes suv i do believe this was the car..

I don't know much about his life. But I'm pretty sure he had to struggle to get money. And his fanbase probably resides in the streets. If he was involved in criminal activities and used his music to brag about it, than yeah..he kinda deserved it, and had it coming.
But if he was just rapping about it (like he said in an interview) I don't see any reason for anyone to kill him. No matter what he talked about in his raps.

Somebody dead, and people talking about he had it coming...thats basicly saying...you're right for killing him.

The thing is , it should be nothing different from al pacino. That fact that it is , is exactly my point.

my argument isnt whether or not he deserved it. i literally never heard that name til i watched the news yesterday. for all i know he could be the best guy in the world. i really have no opinion on this particular case other than RIP its sad somebody's son, father, brother is dead.

i just think its a silly comparison. defending the violence in rap music by comparing it to the violence in movies or anything else has always been weak. i grew up in harlem and ive known about a dozen rappers that i either went to school with or grew up on the same neighborhood with. all of them cultivated and did their best to protect this tough guy image once their name got out there as rappers, including one dude who was never ever a tough guy or even sold drugs in the least bit. but he started rapping about guns and drugs and had to become a "G" or he knew he wasnt gonna make it if it got out there that he was a good kid who was a church altar boy until 16 and whose mother didnt even let him outside unless he was with his older brother. now what do u think would happen if he has a little fame, gets stepped to in the streets and walks away from a confrontation? he gets labeled as soft and there goes his little fame.

again not saying thats what happened here, im only speaking on the scarface vs rap music argument.
