saadiq is a legend and one of the most underrated R&B artists ever IMO.

I'm hyped for this album. that loosie he dropped a few years ago that was supposed to be a pre-album single was fire.



hope the lp is full of joints like this and not just motown inspired ish, dude too nice to stay on that kick for this long.

Yeah he’s up there for me as well. Ray Ray has written and produced some of my favorite R&B songs of all time.

Whhhhhewwwwwwww that was ages ago back when I usta be on Okayplayer boards many moons ago. They say it was round 00 when quik got the deal at Arista and was recording Balance and Options they linked and recorded an album but it got shelved

I just want the old Ray Ray back, that throwback 60's sound was nice but its time to bring back that 'Gospeldelic' sound from Instant Vintage.
