UK has a very lenient justice system. The prison's are full and thousands of prisoners were just released early to make room. Criminals in the UK feel like they can get away with anything. British police resources are stretched and mostly focused on organized crime and terrorism. It's actually surprising the uk does not have more crime. London's actual homicide rate is actually low for a global city of over 10 million people.
