Black music has always been "real" to black ppl.

When rappers started getting face, hand, neck tattoos ppl in the hood startrd doing it. Whatever style rappers push, whatever slang, trickles down. Whatever drugs they rap about from pills, when it was Molly etc, ppl start doing it.

Its not just "entertainment" unfortunately to us.
