I love Cole but I'm taking him off and replacing him with Nicki. Dudes just don't wanna give her props because she's a woman and may not rock/listen to her content. Her influence and popularity is probably second to Drake's.

Future would be the 4th :yeshrug:
They hate to give her props when she still gets on songs and bodies your favs :umad:.

One dude on here tried to argue with me I posted 5 Rick Ross song where she bodied him . No I didn’t include monster .

They couldn’t even argue :

If that was a man who got out rapped Everytime they would get props since it’s Nicki she gets none .

Just say you don’t like her album which is fine but she has skills and her influence is everywhere .

Should of been Drake, Kendrick, Cole, Big Sean/A$ap/Meek.
The fourth person is clearly Future.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Underground is Roc, Gibbs, Benny and Conway.

@spliz would you put Spitta on there?

I feel like Gunn should be on there to, what he just did with Mach Hommy speaks to his ability to put people in the zone and make classics.
It’s Roc Marci, Spitta, and the last 2 are interchangeable. But Roc and Curren$y are hands down most important. Curren$y is so important he even influenced the mainstream artists.

It’s def Nicki over Future. Who would be headlining a tour between the two. Who has more hits on the charts, more standout features, more records sold, who more reliant on a Drake feature.

Nicki made it cool for female rappers to rap again. She opened up the lane for them to rap and do pop hits. So she has the influence.

Drake
Kendrick
Cole
Nicki

I want to say yes but Future's run from 2014-2018 is hard to ignore.

But if we're talking top 5 of the '10s, that fifth spot is Gibbs. His discography has been on par or greater than the all four.

Push definitely should replace J cole. Been way more consistent than cole. Better albums, features, verses, etc, unanimously won a battle against the biggest rapper in the world.

I’m no fan of of drake or future, but I can’t argue with them being on there.

My personal my rushmore gotta be kendrick, Pusha T, Lupe and Gibbs.

They both rap, got put on from rapping, had their rap songs running the decade, etc.
All of this is definitely true for Drake. But he also has a lot of huge hits this decade that are R&B and/or pop. I don’t know how you would separate out just his rap shyt and evaluate that. Hes never even dropped a straight rap album. He’s a hybrid artist.

I’ve never listened to a Future album, but from what I’ve heard, it always sounds like he’s singing to me. Post some of his classics where he’s straight rapping and blacked out with the bars.

The :flabbynsick:take as usual.
Drake himself admitted that one of his biggest hits wasn’t a rap song and didn’t understand why he got a rap award for it.

why would you consider an R&B song, or a pop song, in determining whether an artist belongs on “rap’s” Mount Rushmore?

One of these days I’m gonna set aside a few weeks and get caught up on him :russ:
