sales and fan engagement/feedback dismiss all the pushback on him being up there
I was in highschool from 09-13 cole was way more loved and well received than kendrick and his first two albums weren't even that great
FHD came out when I was in college and he was super hot then. all his songs with miguel from 10-18 were radio hits couldn't escape those songs if you wanted to.
he slowed down when for your eyes only came out, was hot when KOD came out for about a year
how is someone being at the forefront in his own lane for 7-8 years out of a decade not mt. rushmore worthy... of that decade??

Not saying his influence has been as big as his popularity with the casual white audience but he has influenced the style of a few more than just Kendrick. (Could have thrown out lower tier guys like Chance, Logic, and virtually every white rapper out there too.)

Ehh, wouldn’t nobody break the years down like that other than simply tryin to give every single rapper with a run their shine. And that defeats the purpose of a “mt Rushmore” exercise IMO

I ain’t a Em fan at all but if we are being objective how is he not one of the top 4 rappers of the 2000s? 8 Mile aside without him does Aftermath become the label it did? Do we still get G Unit? These are some of the biggest moments of that decade

I actually think 2010-2018 was great. 05-09 was a WOAT era, and yes, looks like the 2019/2020’s era is going to top that in being wack, but 10-18 brought rap back from the shytty ringtone/snap erastill arguing about a top 4 in the shyttiest era in rap history

definitely don’t think so, he’s 100% on the 2002 list. Only people revising Reasonable Doubt’s history in real time would have him on the 94-98 list
Redman should be 90-94. That way you get the first two albums.
