In 2015 i would rather hear rap music about growing gardens and painting houses in the ghetto.

All this selling dope and killing nikkas is c00n shyt and needs to stop for progress to happen.

Telling the truth about what this culture has turned into is not easy....
It's funny, people posting in here like you're some crazy rap music hating extremist. :camby:

Perception is everything, and with attacking any form of rap, they feel as if you're attacking their own identity. I've felt the same. It's a result of programming. Programming so devious most people can't differ between it and what is divine/natural anymore. The program becomes their reality.

With that said, rap is far from the root of the problem, but with it being seen as a "way out" or "holy grail" for so many of our children, add in the subject matter, what y'all think the results will be when the Afro American family is already fragmented? :comeon:

I do not comprehend anyone arguing what's right before them.

Personally i didn't understand how much of an impact rap has on teens until i was 28.

At 28 i started coaching High School basketball and dealing with black teens shooting each other.

Dealing with teens who idolize rappers like Meek Mill really changed my perspective.

I had lost friends to gun violence before in the street but working with teens changed everything.

nikkas will try to deflect and talk about a young cac shooting up a school but it's no comparison.

The black population in America is 14% yet blacks are over 50% of the murder victims.

9 out of 10 blacks are killed by other blacks.

It gives cacs an excuse to drop the murder rate by locking nikkas up to make way for gentrification.
