How is the vdon joints for anyone that’s heard it?? That’s all I care about. Although even his projects with vdon got mid beats for the most part. Ransom chooses some of the chep sounding & boring beats, guaranteed snoozefest. I like random but his projects nvr hit for me. The first one had 3 bangers tho.

This lmao. These types of beats have been the catalyst for Ransom’s rebrand. Him switching his flow up from the Street Fam (or was it A-Team??) days has done wonders for his career. Without that, he’s probably stuck in generic East Coast rapper mixtape hell.

can never figure it out with these guys these days. first thing comes to mind is samples. next thing comes to mind is if they feel a certain way about a project that they think they can get some quick bread from with limited work involved. for the streaming stuff, they actually do it like a regular release and have physicals sometimes but rely on purchases from Apple, Bandcamp, or their own website. he said he may not ever put this project on streaming. so my guess is its something for some quick cash.
