Rotj outside of the final saber battle isnt good. So many shytty, childish decisions. Dont even get me started on the fukking musical number lucas added
will never understand how this gets so highly rated sure it ended epically but the first 2/3s were a waste of time and a shameless ploy to sell toys. Diehards will never admit it but lucas was already showing :flabbynsick:signs then

outside of rae somehow being a jedi master and expert pilot IMMEDIATELY, I enjoyed TFA. I liked it better than TLJ.
But one cant digest TFA without accepting rey being all knowing all seeing. Can decipher robo-speech, can decode wookie, can not only fly the falcon but knows the mechanics of how to fix it better than solo?:why:, has no teacher but is superior in the force and combat over an apprentice(/relative) of luke and Snoke?:snoop:

1. ANH
2. ESB
3. ROTJ

4. RO

5. TFA
6. TLJ
7. TPM
8. ROTS
9. AOTC

OT is obviously the best

RO wasn’t great overall but it’s a competent film with a very entertaining 3rd act.

Everything else sucks.

Just saw the Last Jedi. Thought it was decent, but nothing's ever touching the OG trilogy.
Amended for the addition of Ep. VIII

The Empire Strikes Back (GOAT. The Hoth Battle, Luke's training on Dagobah, the Vader duel on Bespin >>>)

A New Hope (A classic. The introduction to the characters and the mythos, concluding with the legendary Death Star dogfight. Too many classic moments.)

Return of the Jedi (The first act with Jabba the Hutt was classic, and the final duel with Palpatine and Vader was a highlight. The only things I didn't like were the Ewoks and the way Boba Fett got punked.)

The Last Jedi (The movie had some good character moments, a couple of interesting twists, and top notch action. I also liked that Rey wasn't totally invincible and that Finn got some actual shine and a love interest. However, the treatment of a certain major character left me massively disappointed.)
The Force Awakens (A decent start to the new trilogy. Competently made but too derivative of the original films. Rey is too powerful IMO, and I didn't like the :mjpls: treatment of Finn.)

Rogue One (Hype action and some good laughs, but suffers from having no memorable characters (except for established characters in the OG movies). That Vader scene at the end was wild though)

Revenge of the Sith (Wooden writing and excessive CGI really hurt this movie IMO. It's still better than the first two since Palpatine gets plenty of shine, there's no annoying kids, and Jar Jar doesn't talk. IMO the most overrated SW flick.)

Phantom Menace (Podracing and the Darth Maul duel are the only saving graces for this flick. Everything else was trash. Plinkett was absolutely right about this movie.)

Attack of the Clones (A mess. Had the WOAT love story. Even the first movie filmed on actual locations instead of green-screening everything. Plinkett was also right about this movie. Samuel Jackson was the only decent thing about this flick IMO. Also, I felt like having Yoda fight went against his character.)

The Last Jedi was too long, and they totally wasted Luke. They dumped on him over the whole movie, and I wanted to see more of a redemption for Luke. Moreover, Luke should have been THAT DUDE. He should have actually been there wrecking everyone in the end. If they had to kill him off, they should have saved that for the third one. Luke was a wasted character in this trilogy so far. The treatment of the original golden trio has left somewhat of a bitter taste in my mouth, to be honest.
