its so bad with IQ that when I do play with a couple of guys who know how to pass, I'm taken aback and either fumble or drop perfectly placed passes

with most nikkas, you're setting a screen or cutting... they don't see you, they wave you off

True. The bad part is when you go all out and start hard fouling because you getting cooked. I never got cooked by a chic. I don't recall ever running across a man that I had no answer for defensively.

I agree I wouldn't hard foul/play dirty against any one man or woman.

Im just saying don't let her take you out your game cause you trying to take it easy on her And she's hitting open shots cause you don't wanna play defense against her.

a less cac-centric version though:

note: im 5-10 and lanky. i play once a week now. used to ball 4-5 times a week when i was younger

its pretty much glorified 1 on 1 if you're playing with strangers... most people do not move without the ball, are gunners, and can not pass
driving is not worth it... too many cheap fouls and im gonna get hacked (pickup games hack like crazy overall).
on offense i stick to step backs, pull ups and floaters
defense is pretty easy unless you have a serious baller out there.. most people can not shoot, so i usually give space and bait people into a contested jumpshot

i do pretty well and have avoided injury this way
