Because with Lamar he had huge inaccuracy issues. The WR corp wasn't great but he also was struggling on getting the ball to the WRs when they actually were open. The Chiefs are leading the league in drops. The WRs constantly run to the wrong parts of the field or fukk up tracking the ball ruining other big plays. I will agree the Lamar criticism went overboard but he also received more of it due to his inaccuracy which he has since improved upon.
