This idea that Caleb Williams was gonna turn down the clout of being the 1st overall pick and the 40 million dollars that comes with it for “NIL money” was one of the dumbest talking points I’ve ever seen :mjlol:

Jameis made 46 million dollars in tampa. Baker made 43 million in Cleveland and those teams moved off them.

Speaking of Caleb, one of the main critical/nerdy draft gurus online basically said straight up:

That throw at 1:45 was :wow:
Tossed it casually and the ball travelled 55 yards.

Some scout said dude so polished and in control with the footwork even on the all out scrambles and melees. Something a lot of people don't give him credit for, but when you watch the video it's very clear it's a skill he's worked on. Very elusive/slippery player.

This is based on this season’s performance and not how people ranked them personally.

Dak belongs up there with him if we’re talking about performance this season.
Dak didn't do anything different to me this year than he did any other year. CeeDee going off was more of what happened with their passing offense than Dak making a leap in play to be with Pat or Lamar or Josh.

I was surprised when I found out Joe Montana was ~6'1 playing purely from the pocket after knowing his OL was 6'4-6'7.

You ask people today and they'll say a 6'2 QB will have problems seeing over an offensive line.

Von Miller and nearly the entire Denver Broncos defense were also below average to average in term of height/arm length as well, but man could they get to the QB.
