The playin schedule is stupid. There shouldnt be a whole day off between this shyt.

They should have the east play monday/wed and the west play tuesday/thursday. Give friday the whole day off for all this
you'd have to know who the opponents are though.

You're asking the play-in teams to play a back to back from the end of the regular season to the play-in

Ideally everyone would play on Tueday and then the losers play Thursday, but TV isn't gonna air games against each other and damn sure not a quadruple header.

Watching bill Simmons pod from last night and he voted Jokic as MVP..and his co host who also has a vote, picked him as well

Ryan rusillo voted jokic too

Low key Starting to look shaky for Shai ..I thought he had the award wrapped up like a month or so ago

I was shocked bill voted Beasley over Pritchard for 6th man though
I wouldn’t be surprised if Jokic took it, his standard for winning it gets to change every year it seems :mjpls:

Them Kemp dunks were classics

The absence of Amare is just a tough reminder that most of his posters were regular season affairs early in his career before the injuries set in.

Lowkey Kawhi got some bangers in the vault despite being on borrowed time with those knees. Andrew Wiggins as well, in the brief time it felt he was with the Warriors.

The standard is different every season, especially with such subjectivity. There’s always those that oppose the winner and question the measurements around how they won. There’s always those that use a justification that doesn’t quite match up to what they’ve used in the past.

And are we just going to pretend like 2023 didn’t happen? Do we really need to go over how buffoons like Perk actually walked their shyt back after what happened in the playoffs that season? How everyone was left with egg all over their shyt after Embiid crashed out of the playoffs in embarrassing fashion and Jokic dominated from start to finish?

:usure:

And are we just going to pretend like he didn’t just have arguably his best season of his career and arguably the best season a big man has had in the modern era?

:usure:

Not that it matters now with the MVP race being over, but nobody should have an issue with anyone choosing to vote for Jokic. Both he and Shai are/were deserving, and that’s all that should matter at the end of the day that someone deserving wins it.

I can't even look at him as a legitimate big...he's a tall, finesse guy that would prefer to play on the perimeter and shoot 3's.

He wants no part of any physical contact in the painted area.

TO BE FAIR
ANYTIME HE GETS A SMALLER
PLAYER ON HIM HE IMMEDIATELY
TAKES THEM TO THE POST
FOR AN EASY BASKET.

I THINK THE 3P SHOOTING
IS A PART OF THEIR OFFENSIVE SCHEME.

GOTTA SPACE THE FLOOR FOR JA
THE SAME WAY BROOK HAS SPENT
THE LATTER HALF OF HIS CAREER
SPACING THE FLOOR FOR GIANNIS
EVEN THOUGH HE CAN SCORE IN THE POST
