Yeah but the owner is weird and Beal may be a net negative if he stays on the roster. I can’t see kd wanting to run it back with the same group. Something has to change dramatically for both sides to continue the relationship.
It's tricky because Beal isn't a starter in this league anymore...at least on a team with playoff aspirations...but he just got paid.
Is the Ishbia cool with watching Beal come off the bench for an entire season next year knowing he's paying him all that money? Usually owners would rather trade a mistake than be reminded of it every day.
If you trade Beal, what's his market. He's not a leader you want for a young team that's building, he's not the missing piece for a contender.
Suns off-season will be interesting.
