My overall point was a defensive minded coach would in fact have the defensive playing better. Would it have been great with an aging Bron & other pieces no. However putting all your eggs into an offensive minded coach with an aging star & hit or miss offensive players wasn’t that great of an idea. No agenda I tell it like it is

But to that point - haven't the Lakers performed above expectations thus far, and can't part of that be attributed to the coaching?
I simply pointed out that these lulls that teams find themselves in over the course of a 82-game season happen to almost every team. You crashed out over a few games, on the road, where they missing a number of players. Coaching wouldn't have changed that, especially as it concerns this team where they've adopted the identity of their 40-year-old centerpiece. You can't expect a team like that to be engaged defensively every game, particularly at that time where the state of the roster/health was in crisis.
