I highly doubt they’re picking up his club option next season and I doubt they’d get much in return for him unless they use his salary to go big name hunting.

Might have to ride it out with him on the roster.

Sacramento catching fire with Christie doomed any plans of trading for Fox. That's the guy you'd target with FVV if that situation would have continued spiraling. FVV's overpaid and overrated but he is a PG and the only one on the roster.

They could swap FVV for Lavine straight up but ehhh. It's the right structure to get the best out of Lavine with all their defenders but that's not a trade I'd make with the way they've been playing.

The nuclear option, which is available to everybody in the league, would be Zion. He's a true #1 option but could Ime get him in line? I don't see how it'd work with Sengun and the lack of spacing but the rest of the team would make sense around him.

They need to just play this year out and let the talent continue to develop, when you rush you trade Jeff Green for Kendrick Perkins.
