Phoenix is 7-17 in their last 24 games. It's pretty clear it isn't gonna happen with this group. They're stuck with Beal but Booker and Durant would still fetch a lot in return.
Ishbia's ego seems out of this world and he said 26 other teams would give anything to have their roster not that long ago. Will he able to see the writing on the wall and blow this up before the deadline?
Houston would for sure trade for one of them. They own Phoenix's pick this year and two more going forward, plus, they have a bunch of young guys to send back. The Rockets need one of those guys too, Booker more than Durant.
It could be a storybook ending if OKC got Durant back. They have the picks and can take his salary back without giving up anybody noteworthy besides Dort. His contract would come off the books would Jalen Williams' new deal would kick in.
At a minimum, they should make a deal with Houston and get their picks back, especially for this draft.
