With Phoenix... what's the problem now? They finally have their true point guard after their last true point guard was too old/injury prone.

They missin their defensive anchor and rim protector. Chet also a great 3PT shootin bigs. He space the floor for everyone to get easier shots even though he don't post up much.

He was a cheat code and was literally lookin like a great value Wemby before the injury

But his issue last year was he's still young/passive, so that's why it was kinda important imo for him to get these reps in to start the season/why the injury was tough. He might revert to his passive self upon return, trying to fit in/nurse the injury.

Their best player made Jarrett Allen look like prime Hakeem tonight.

OKC is great defensively. Hartenstein is their anchor and their entire starting lineup are +wing defenders.

2 shooting guards and no point guard worth a damn on the team until Tyus was always gonna be a problem, Nurk is washed and they never had a bench to begin with. Grayson Allen is an important player for them and he’s hurt.

Since December

Reaves

22/8/6 on 47/38/85 shootin
+52

LeBron

25/8/7 on 49/32/81 shootin
-31

:lupe:

Bron just turned 40 and that nikka don't play no defense no more either so that not much of a advantage like it would been in past.... At the least the gap between AD and Bron much bigger now than gap between Bron and Reaves :hubie:

Team chemistry is way down. Beal straight up quit tonight. Center rotation is all time bad. Big 3 has played exactly 1 game without someone getting hurt. Book came back and Beal went out immediately.

The fact they still best defense since Chet been out should be scary for everyone but no mistakin he still they anchor.....

They was 7-1 before Chet injury only loss @ Denver by 2. Won every other game by at least 13 points, held 5/8 teams below 100 and 3 below 90 points.... in 2024

They're a p*ssy team.

That's the simplified version of it.

For as good as KD still is at this stage of his career, he's not a compass that keeps the foot on the gas. He gets buckets, but they're already within the flow of the game, and not when the Suns need to grab the contest by the throat. We already know Beal plays with the same type of intensity, and Booker has seemingly regressed. Then you add in the likes of Tyus and Nurkic, who're both tentative pussies themselves.

All the intangibles and connective tissue that make a squad just simply isn't there.

Beal got injured early and never returned lol

It's always one of those 3 nikkas injured like it was in Brooklyn wit Kyrie and Harden
