In all seriousness, a lot of Steph's inconsistencies are that nobody else on the team can shoot or create their own shot, regularly. He's trying to score against the tide far too often.

In 2021 when Klay was out that whole season Steph averaged 32 PPG and scorin champ.... That team had Wiseman, Bazemore, Oubre, Paschall, JTA. Poole was a 20yo sophomore playin 19 MPG. That roster was even less shootin or ability to create they own than the current team, more offensive liabilities yet Steph had no problem scorin as well as anyone in the league....

He just now..... it happens he still good but can't get separation off dribble much no more, struggles to beat defenders without a screen, not as quick on or off ball.... He past his prime a few seasons back clear as day

this a strawman. kerr doesnt really need a superteam, he needs something competent. no one ever has smoke for the Front oFfice for putting together a roster that can't shoot, pass, is undersized, and playmake consistently.

yeah, he's 36. no other player is expected to do that but him for whatever reason.

Strus was that dude for them. He was shooting ridiculous from 3 and big enough (pause) to stay with most of the All Star wings in the East.

Now I think they're in a bit of trouble. Levert is garbage and they don't have enough wing defenders to pick up for the eventual abuse Garland is going to get in the playoffs.
