Rockets offense is embarrassing. It shouldn't be this bad with all the talent they have.

Their talent is almost all defense fukk ya talkin bout:mjlol: Brooks, Amen, Eason, Adams, Jabari, Fred all defenders

Sengun they only consistent player on offense. nikkas ain't still talkin bout Jalen Green talent like that in 2025 he Gen Z Jordan Clarkson wit battyboi tendencies he not a star. Fred Vanfleet was a 3rd option at his best in Toronto his best scorin season was 20 PPG on 40% :mjtf: and he post to be the 2nd option here or 1st when he came in....

Dillon Brooks they 4th leadin scorer.... He was 4th leadin scorer in Memphis behind Ja, JJJ and Bane and Memphis was 15th ranked offense.... And there no Ja legit star in Houston.

Ain't nothin much more this Rockets cast can do on offense. Most em nikkas don't even got NBA level dribblin. They 26th in league in 3P% at 33% and 25th in FT% at 76.2%.... Bottom 5 in both mean they don't got much shootin talent either. There nothin offensively talented bout this team personel. They talented on DEFENSE, they got athleticism, length, speed........ and Udoka has em nikkas top 3 defense all season

You're being completely disingenious.

- Jabari was one of the best shooting freshman bigs in college hoops history; he could hit any type of jumpshot, all over the floor
- Fred was having 20 ppg seasons on 50 EFG%, which is around about league-average efficiency (you don't use FG% for someone whose shot diet is largely 3s)
- Jalen has a high-level scoring skillset; he can pretty much to get to any spot he wants to on the floor
- Amen and Eason are some of the best cutters/divers and rim runners at their respective positions
- Sengun is one of the more versatile offensive bigs in the league.

They've got offensive talent in abundance that simply isn't being utilized properly. Both Jabari and Jalen were drafted on the expectation they'd become offensive anchors, so you can miss with trying to downplay their ability on that end of the floor.

There's no rhyme or reason to their structure on that end - it largely consists of my-turn-your-turn possessions where nobody is playing for one another, or looking to make the extra pass, or screening for one another or really doing anything that would contribute to getting easy scoring opportunities. The buckets that they do generate are largely through their own abilites and not through a system.

There's a reason why they've got the worst assist % in all the league; there's a reason why they've got the worst shot generation in all the league.

I’ve been calling Ime’s offense trash for two seasons and folks called me a hater. We have no identity on offense. We’re a terrible half court team. We don’t play to our physical strengths. Jalen looks worse offensively under Ime than Silas. Amen isn’t a pg and I’m happy that Ime and the staff recognized that and stop trying to force that on him. Jabari is limited on offense by way of creation but he has his strengths. He’s long and tall with a great wingspan and can get his shot off over most players. Ime isn’t coaching him up. he hasn’t really developed Him or Jalen or Cam. He hasn’t really developing Sengun. He just told him to go and to get the euro out of his game. Ime ain’t running shyt out there. It’s why he lays FVv so much even when he’s the worse players on certain night, he needs FVV to run the offense. He depends on his vets to stead the boat on offense with their experience. Ime remind me of JVG when he was coach with the Rockets. And if you’re a rockets fan and remember that era JVg was all defense with no offensive gameplan other than get the ball to TMac and let him do his thing. It’s why the team fell off in his second season with TMac went he got injured. Those rockets teams were regular season teams with called potential under JVG. You can’t do anything in the league with a rising offense. Rick Adelman came in and had way more success.. with his high post offense and Princeton style movement .

All this said, and this is why I don’t understand why Cam isn’t being prioritized more. His offense is needed. He used to break a lot of droughts for us last season.

The player comps are ridiculous. Jabari gets compared to Kd, Tari to Kawhi, Amen to Jason Kidd. Even the Sengun to Jokic is starting to become a reach. Jokic would have no problem backing down Draymond and abusing him.

I still don’t know what Ben Sullivan does or what his job is .

I’m glad the tnt crew said that about their offense because now it’ll get media attention and casuals actually take the tnt crew baseball analysis serious. Even though they’re right in this topic they’re typically idiots on modern nba discussion.

Even Chuck can see how clueless the Rockets are on offense. They should be further along the road on that end of the floor by now.
Based off of what. They should be better and more creative on offense but not based off of anything Ime doin. This is par the course for him. People forget how bad Boston’s offense looked in that finals. They averages like 90 points in the losses to golden state.. by game 5 I knew GSW had the series. Boston wasn’t doing anything on offense and ime couldnt get them out their funk. Once huge had their mojo back and Boston couldn’t stop them on offense it was a wrap

You're preaching to the choir, my g.

I've pointed out in the past how bad Boston's offense looked under him. I'm not in the least bit surprised the Rockets are looking the same. The fact remains though, they should be a lot better than they are, given this is their second year under Udoka and nothing has changed on that end of the floor, in fact, they look like they've gone backwards.
